Welcome to the website of Puck Funeral Home. For over fifty years, the Puck family has been honored to serve the families of Hobart and the surrounding communities of Proctor County. We have known many of your families for a very long time. We understand that this is a difficult time, and we are here to help you through it, as we always have been.
Our Services Traditional Funeral Services Full-service funerals with visitation, ceremony, and burial. We work with Evergreen Cemetery and all other area cemeteries. Cremation Services Direct cremation, cremation with memorial service, and cremation with traditional funeral options. A selection of urns and keepsakes is available at our facility. Pre-Arrangement Planning We encourage all residents to consider pre-arrangement. Consultations are offered at no cost, and payment plans are available. Please call to schedule an appointment. It is never too early. Memorial & Celebration of Life Services Personalized celebrations of life, graveside services, and military honors. Our chapel seats up to 120 guests. Reception area available on the lower level. Grief Support Ongoing bereavement resources for families. Our monthly grief support group meets the first Wednesday of each month at the Hobart Community Center. All are welcome. Aftercare Assistance We assist families with death certificates, Social Security notification, veterans' benefits, and insurance claims. Please do not hesitate to call with any questions.
About Our Family Puck Funeral Home was founded in 1967 by Earl T. Puck, a lifelong resident of Hobart. Earl believed every family deserved to be treated with dignity, patience, and respect, regardless of their circumstances. That commitment has guided our family through three generations of service to this community. Today, the funeral home continues to operate under Earl's guidance, with the same values he carried from the very beginning. We are proud to be a part of Hobart, and grateful for the trust our neighbors have placed in us over the years.
